"Two Haunting Eyes....."

Performed at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts

Conducted by Michael Borowitz

Sung in German with English Supertitles.

You will not want to miss this World Premiere performance of Kálmán's glorious operetta, semi-staged and sung in its original version (never before heard - our Reno audiences will be the FIRST!).  Premiered in Vienna in 1926, then on Broadway in 1927 at the Winter Garden Theatre for 192 performances, The Circus Princess is the romantic story of the Russian Princess Fedora who falls madly in love with the mysterious Mister X, a circus phenomenon with a secret past.  The glorious Jane Redding (Yum-Yum in last season's The Mikado) and the dashing Dennis Jesse (Amonasro in Aïda) return to create these roles for the first time ever!
