Nevada Opera's  41st season offers you the ultimate operatic escape vacation package.   We've added exciting new destinations next season especially for you... travel with Nevada Opera without worrying about the high cost of jet fuel!  Michael Borowitz, General and Artistic Director, has created a season that will take you throughout Europe, all from your set at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts.

 

Our first stop: Sunny Spain for The Barber of Seville. Romance, deguise and comedy wrapped in extraordinary music, this is a production not to be missed.  Friday, October 3, 2008, at 7:30 pm and  Sunday, October 5, 2008, 2 pm, The Barber of Seville.

 

Our seond stop: Russia for The Circus Princess. A princess falls in madly in love with a mysterious circus legend.  This world-premiere critical edition production was awarded an Artistic Excellence grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, Friday, February 20, 2009, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, February 22, 2009, at 2 pm,  The Circus Princess.

 

Our Final stop:  April in Paris for La Bohème.  Young bohemians fall in and out of love.  This masterpiece is the world's most popular opera. La Bohème, Friday, April 24, 2009, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, April 26 at 2 pm.
