Ms. McCall went into the computer field in 1967 while obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Brooklyn College. For 10 years before she retired, she was an independent computer consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area. After retiring, she volunteered with the South Lake Tahoe Unit of the American Red Cross for several years. She subsequently became the first president of TOCCATA -- Tahoe Symphony and Chorus, serving in that position for three years.
