The versatile American singer Laura Pedersen brings to opera houses and to concert halls, an exciting lyric soprano voice, beauty and a rare ability to make each role come alive on stage.
In the 2012-2013 season, she returned to Carnegie Hall with RTB for their annual production of Opera Shorts. She will make her Nevada opera debut singing Donna Anna in Don Giovanni and she will sing her first Beethoven 9 with Firelands Symphony Orchestra. Also this season, Laura reprised the role of Hanna Glawari with Opera Delaware, as well as with Cedar Rapids Opera Theater in her home state of Iowa, broadcast live on Public Radio. Her recent debut with Opera Panama was singing her first Mimi in La Boheme, and she recently joined Opera Panama again for her debut as Tosca. Her acclaimed concert performances of Harp & Heels is becoming popular in the new world of fun and edgy classical concerts. Other recent performances include soloist in RTB’s Figaro’s Hangover and Tempo Fuori del Tempo at Weil Recital Hall, Donna Anna with the Satori Opera and Musetta with Indianapolis Opera.
