Paul Aberasturi has directed over seventy stage productions on the professional, college/university, and civic levels. He is the Department Chair, Theatre Professor and Producer at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) in Reno, Nevada. His most recent productions include Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Company, Into The Woods, and A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. His production of, Working received a Federal Award in Washington D.C., and he directed the original production of Ron Gaylord’s Famiglia! in Connecticut. Paul is making his Nevada Opera directing debut in the company’s Don Giovanni.
