Internationally acclaimed tenor, Jesus Garcia, has performed on major stages all over the world. Specializing in the romantic roles of the Italian and French repertoire, his dynamic stage presence and soaring vocalism have made him one of opera’s most sought-after young rising stars.
Mr. Garcia most recently garnered international acclaim with his debut in the role of Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini's Tosca with Theater Kiel, with European critics writing that Mr. Garcia's "tenor is radiant in the role's highest demands" and that his interpretation "could exist in every opera house in the world." Recent company credits include Rodolfo in La Boheme with L’Opera National de Bordeaux, PragueState Opera, Opera Hong Kong, Opera New Zealand, and Opera Rio de Janeiro; Nadir in Les Pecheurs de Perles with Minnesota Opera,; Ernesto in Don Pasquale with Opera Company of Philadelphia and Arizona Opera; Alfredo in La Traviata with Phoenix Opera; Fenton in Falstaff with the Houston Grand Opera; Ferrando in Cosi fan Tutte with the Berlin Staatsoper and the Spoleto Festival USA; Alfred in Die Fledermaus with the Washington National Opera; Ramiro in La Cenerentola with the Dallas Opera
