Francesca, a Connecticut native, holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from St. Olaf College. As a student there her notable credits include Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro and a female adaptation of the Proprietor in Sondheim's Assassins, as well as serving as a section leader and soloist with the nationally acclaimed St. Olaf Choir.
Miss Caviglia has extensive training and experience in musical theater, cabaret, art song, and opera and has been hailed for her pure vocal tone and dramatic artistry. Currently based in New York City, recent appearances include concert performances with the New York Lyric Opera Theater, and work with Opera Moderne, as well as cabaret appearances at The Duplex in the West Village and Don't Tell Mamma piano bar. She has also performed as a young artist with Opera Oggi NY and as a summer resident artist with Nevada Opera appearing in Sweeney Todd as the beggar woman - who turns out to be Todd's demented wife.
