Irina Kasimova, soprano, this is her debut on opera stage. She was born in Russia, and graduated from the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyev. She did post-graduate work there after receiving her master’s degree in Music Pedagogy, Education, Theory and History of Culture. She participated in Artown 2012 with Nevada Opera, and annual Russian Arts Festivals in Reno and San-Francisco. Irina has performed with TOCCATA Tahoe Simphony Orchestra&Chorus. She was a soloist with the Reno Masterworks Chorale under Music director Richard Lee. In 2009 she also performed in the International project, “Meloplastika”,Ukraine. She moved to Reno in 2012.
